Kindergarten is doing so well this year! We are more than half way through the alphabet.  The students have learned 22 sight words.  They can count to 100, count by 10's & by 5's!  The students have been busy learning about Measurement.

In the month of March, we will be learning about community helpers, observing and predicting if objects will sink or float, and learning about the letter P. Enter first column content here

In April, the students will learn about regrowth and plants and flowers.  They will also listen to stories and poems and then identify sequence, details and the idea of a story.   In math we will tell and record time by the hour.  We will also identify pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and their values.

In May, we will learn the remainder of our sight words.  By the end of May, the students will be able to read an easy reader or higher level book.  At the end of May, the students should be able to discriminate the beginning sounds of all letters of the alphabet. In math, addition and subtraction up to 10.  We will also be learning about zoo animals throughout the month of May.
